Tournament Overview
The PrimeTime Sports 2009 National Basketball Championship will be headquartered in the North Dallas area, with gyms located throughout the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex on July 22-26, 2009. The National Championship offers outstanding competition, excellent facilities, and many activities to make it a wonderful family event in addition to a great basketball tournament.
The PrimeTime Sports National Championship is the fastest growing youth national basketball tournament in the country! Last year, 612 teams participated in the National Championship, making it the largest single venue national championship in the country. Plans are being made for more than 750 teams participating in the 2009 National Championship. Last year, more than 8,000 players, coaches and fans attended the Opening Ceremony at the historic Loos Field House. The key note speaker at the 2009 National Championship Opening Ceremony will be Mr. Prime Time, Deion Sanders...don't miss this outstanding opportunity to hear one of the greatest multi-sport athletes of our generation! The Opening Ceremony will also offer entertainment, activities for kids of all ages, and a shooting contest where 2 people will have a chance to win $25,000 each!
The Entry Fee for the PrimeTime Sports National Championship is $400 for all teams that submit a complete entry, including all player eligibility documentation, and payment on or before June 1, 2009. For completed entries after June 1, 2009, the Entry Fee is $465. The deadline for complete entries is July 1, 2009.
How To Qualify
PrimeTime Sports will host more than 50 Qualifying Tournaments across the country during the upcoming year to allow teams to qualify for the National Championship. While most teams will enter the tournament through this qualification process, PrimeTime Sports is offering a number of At-large Invitations to deserving teams. The at-large invitations are intended to maintain the competitive level of the tournament and expand the geographic diversity. There are at-large spots available in all divisions for deserving teams.
