Tournament Overview

The PrimeTime Sports National Basketball Championship will be headquartered in the North Dallas area, with gyms located throughout the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex on July 23-27, 2008. The National Championship offers outstanding competition, excellent facilities, and many activities to make it a wonderful family event in addition to a great basketball tournament.

The PrimeTime Sports National Championship is the fastest growing youth national basketball tournament in the country! Last year, nearly 600 teams participated in the National Championship and more than 700 teams are expected this year. More than 8,000 players, coaches and fans attended the opening ceremonies at the historic Loos Field House. Prior years' speakers include Avery Johnson (Head Coach Dallas Mavericks), Fran Fraschilla (ESPN), Phil Martelli (Head Coach, St. Joseph University), Cynthia Cooper, Derek Harper, Orlando Woolridge, Wayne Simien, and Greg Dreiling.

The Entry Fee for the National Championship is $465 per team. The tournament will offer a four game minimum, with half the field playing 5 or more games. A regulation clock will be used for all National Championship games. The scorekeeper and timekeeper will be provided by PrimeTime Sports for all National Championship games.

How To Qualify

PrimeTime Sports has hosted more than 50 Qualifying Tournaments across the country during the past year to allow teams to qualify for the National Championship. While most teams have entered the tournament through this qualification process, PrimeTime Sports is offering a number of At-large Invitations to deserving teams . The at large invitations are intended to maintain the competitive level of the tournament and expand the geographic diversity. There are at-large spots available in all divisions for deserving teams.
