PrimeTime Soccer is happy to announce that we will be offering two winter “Inside Soccer” Leagues starting this November.
No freezing temperatures, no rainouts, no rescheduling games due to Mother Nature.
PrimeTime will look to avoid winter weather and move inside to continue playing
Available for all age groups — U6-U19 based on birth year (or age pure teams) — PrimeTime is opening registration for our Winter 5v5 leagues.
We would like to make special note that this is NOT indoor soccer. Though our games will be hosted at Real Soccer Center in Carrollton (a covered facility), they will not be played with indoor soccer rules.
Instead, we will have a 30x15 yard artificial turf field, with out-of-bounds lines just like in regular soccer. There is no bouncing passes off walls. Each team will field four outfield players and one goal-keeper, much like in futsal.
“It’s a great way to hone your skills,” said Assistant Director of Soccer Dom Falcinelli. “In the first few minutes of their first game, players learn the importance of ball control and transition from offense to defense.”
Each game will also feature a certified referee.
The registration deadline for our Winter I league ends on November 13th, 2015. Games will start on Nov. 27 and run through Dec. 20. Each team will have four scheduled weekends in which they will play two games in a day, for a total of eight games.
Points will be tallied based on each game result and the team with the highest point total at the end of the season will be crowned champion.
Our Winter II League will begin on Jan. 1, 2016 and run through Jan 24, 2016, with the same format as listed above. The registration deadline for Winter II is December 16, 2015.
